Memorial CD for Trevor Johnson
Early in the morning on the 15th of July 2010, the preservation world, and especially the fairgroundorganscene, was completely shocked by the sudden and unexpected death of Trevor Johnson.
He was the loyal, silent hard worker on both the museum and the rallyfield. Trevor did lots of different jobs for Graham Atkinson, and was also the Victory on Tour representative for the UK.
Often he could be found behind the keyframe of the ex. Benny Irvins Marenghi, or the Southsea Gavioli.
Sometimes, when there wasn’t enough staff, he even managed two organs at the same time, walking over from keyframe to keyframe all day.
He was only young, but had an almost endless knowledge of organs, fairgroundrides and traction engines.
Trevor was only 31 years old, and leaves his wife Cassie, plus two lovely young childrens, Jessica and James.
